With the rise of social media‘s influence on customers’ buying decisions, B2B marketing and inside sales will continue to use multiple touch points to lead toward closing deals. In 2025, I expect that sales agents will be measured on how they influence accounts via social selling, social interaction and pushing of content — similar to how dials are measured now. This type of universalization could give way to the need to use dedicated inside sales companies.
